About the Scrapbooks
Over a 50 year period, Flamstead and Trowley Women’s Institute created three “scrapbooks”: collections of photos, newspaper cuttings, printed material, and elegantly hand-written commentary. They provide a wonderful, detailed survey of village life over a given year. The first was for 1965, in recognition of the WI Golden Jubilee that year.
The other two will be published in due course.
